There are many waterfalls in every Australian state, although the most spectacular drops are along the eastern seaboard – the Blue Mountains (NSW), Waterfall Way near Dorrigo (NSW), Lamington National Park (QLD) and Cairns region (QLD) are some of the best places to go chasing easily-accessible waterfalls.

The list below is sorted by (my subjective) rating in descending order – so highest-rated falls/swimming spots at the top!

No positions found.

Darling Mills Cascades in the Bidjigal Reserve lays the claim to fame of being the only waterfall in the Hills Shire. The Darling Mills Creek tumbles over some rock ledges.
Grotto Falls is a small waterfall along the West Rim Trail (Fitzroy Falls), which is in a grotto-like setting just off the main trail
Lady Hordern Falls is below the more spectacular Fitzroy Falls, and can be seen via a lookout along the West Rim Trail.
