Near the top of Leura Falls Creek is a long cascade, where the water flows over a series of moss-covered rocks. The creek is surrounded by dense, rainforest-like foliage. It’s a fairly popular and much-photographed waterfall, as it’s fairly easily reached.

Below the cascades is a bridge providing access to a large sandstone overhang next to the pool and cascades, which is surrounded by ferns.

Getting to Leura Cascades
The Leura Cascades Trail from the picnic area descends about 400m to the falls. Continue along the track to a lookout over Bridal Veil Falls. Return the same way, or do a longer loop walk along the Amphitheatre Track which goes to the base of Bridal Veil Falls (Leura Cascades and Weeping Rock loop).
