Summary: Goondaree Falls is one of two adjacent waterfalls along the West Canungra Creek Circuit bushwalk. The wide and picturesque waterfall drops into a wide pool.

Two picturesque waterfalls are in close proximity along West Canungra Creek: the signposted Goondaree Falls, and a little upstream the Wongaree Falls. The waterfall drops over a couple of tiers into a pool at the base, which is surrounded by lush rainforest.

The falls can also be seen from above, which also provides a view of the pool at the base.

The shape of the falls hasn’t changed much since it was photographed in the very early 1900s (1909-1915, John Oxley Library, State Library of Queensland).
