Summary: Cormorant Beach is small and sheltered dog-friendly beach in Bawley Point, on the NSW south coast.

Cormorant Beach is a small and fairly sheltered beach between Juwin Head and Bawley Point, on the NSW south coast (between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay). The waves average about one metre. It’s a pet-friendly beach, with dogs are allowed to run off-leash 24 hours a day.

Cormorant Beach in Bawley Point

At low tide you can walk to the adjoining beaches – Bawley Beach to the north and Gannet Beach to the south – over the rocky headlands at both ends of the beach. Low tide is the best time to do this but you can cross evern at high tide.
