Carved about 3000 to 4000 years ago, Apana Gård 2A features a human figure connected to a reindeer and a large boat-figure.
Bergbukten 3A has 55 figures, depicting a number of boats (as well as elk and reindeer).
More than 6000 carvings on several sites around Alta, which bear the traces of settlement dating from 7000 to 500 BC. A walkway passes a number of panels in this UNESCO World Heritage listed area.
