The area bordered by Duffys Forest and Terret Hills to the south, and Smiths Creek and Cowan Creek to the north and north-east.
The Cooyong Neverfail Trail Loop combines a number of firetrails to form a bushwalking or mountain-biking route through the Ku-ring-gai National Park near Terrey Hills.
Accessible from the Chiltern Trail or from Chiltern Road, a short climb gets you to the McCowen Trig Station. There’s some filtered views from the trig station.
A short “bush bash” from the Cowan Track to the Cowan Trig Station, which is still in good condition but well-hidden in the scrub.
The Arthur Trig Station is stil in pretty good condition; it is located just off the Mount Murray Anderson bushwalking track.
The Long trig station is visible from the Long Trail, about 900m before the end of the track.
There’s almost northing left of the Roach Trig, which is is one of the highest trig points in Ku-ring-gai Chase NP.

The Big Man, Small Man Aboriginal engraving site has three male figures. The largest is over six metres high, and the smallest just over a metre.
