The secluded Lovetts Pool and small Lovetts Pool Waterfall are above Elvina Bay, and reached via a narrow bushwalking track. The beautiful and secluded swimming hole is fed by an unnamed creek, which originates a short distance above the natural pool (so it’s pristine water). A small cascade is at the upper end of the waterhole. The pool is getting gradually busier as more people discover this stunning spot, but if you’re luck you may have it yourself.

A short distance downstream are some smaller cascades, where the creek cascades over multiple rock platforms.

After these cascades, the creek tumbles over the much higher Elvina Waterfall, which is best viewed from the bottom.
Getting to Lovetts Pool
The waterfall and pool are reached via a track off the Fredricks Track (which branches off the Elvina Track) at West Head. You can do this as an “out and back” walk, or a longer Elvina Bay loop walk.
