Summary: The Lovett Pool Falls is a very small waterfall that drops into a natural pool near the Elvina Track (at West Head).

As a waterfall, this tiny cascade barely warrants a mention… but when combined with a beautiful and secluded swimming hole it’s worth a visit! The Lovett Pool Falls is formed by an unnamed creek dropping about a metre into a natural pool.

A short distance downstream are some smaller cascades, where the creek cascades over multiple rock platforms.

After these cascades, the creek tumbles over the much higher Elvina Waterfall, which is best seen from the bottom.

Getting to Lovett Pool Falls

The waterfall and pool are reached via a track off the Fredricks Track (which branches off the Elvina Track) at West Head. You can do this as an “out and back” walk, or a longer Elvina Bay loop walk.
