Summary: Cascade Falls is a small waterfall a short distance below the Taranaki Falls, just above a bridge across the Wairere Stream.

Below the well-known and popular Taranaki Falls are the smaller Cascade Falls. They are just above a bridge over the Wairere Stream, where the stream plunges into a narrow gully.

Getting to Cascade Falls

The Taranaki Falls Walk is a short (6km) and popular loop walk from Whakapapa village that visits both Taranaki Falls, and this waterfall which is about five minutes along the path downstream.
