Summary: Located on the Box Forest Circuit (and also on the West Canungra Creek Circuit) in Lamington National Park, Bunyip Falls plunges into a deep pool.

Seen from above along the Box Forest Circuit, Bunyip Falls is a picturesque waterfall which plunges with some force into a deep pool. It’s possible to scramble down to the pool, athough there’s no formal track.

Getting to Bunyip Falls

This waterfall is along the 18km West Canungra Creek Circuit and the 12km Box Forest Circuit, which both start along the Border Track from the O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat carpark at the end of Lamington National Park Road. The waterfall is around 4.5km from the Border Track and 6.5km frrom the Green Mountains trailhead via Picnic Rock. The waterfall is not signposted, and there’s no official path to the base of the falls.
