The Central Coast area to the north of Sydney is blessed with many waterfalls, which are protected by large tracts of natonal parks and reserves. Most of the waterfalls can be found in Brisbane Water National Park and Popran National Park, as well as in the Watagans and some of the smaller bushland reserves (such as Darkinjung Land and Ironbark Creek Reserve).

The Trough Waterfall (or Secret Woy Woy Waterfall Pool) is now a popular Central Coast Instagram spot. The waterfall and infinity pool are well worth a visit, but try and avoid peak times.
