Summary: A very accessible lookout, Wentworth Falls Lookout provides views over the Jamison Valley and glimpses of the Wentworth Falls waterfall.

Easily reached by a paved walking track only a few minutes from the carpark, Wentworth Falls Lookout gives you a great view over the Jamison Valley and Kings Tableland with Mount Solitary in the distance.

Despite what its name suggests, you only get a glimpse of the top of the Wentworth Falls waterfall – it’s worth doing the bushwalk to Rocket Point Lookout or Princes Rock Lookout to get a better view of the falls – especially if it has been raining.

The fenced lookout can get pretty busy, as it’s so easily reached.

Getting to Wentworth Falls Lookout

The lookout platform is reached via a level, wheelchair-accessible paved path from the Wentworth Falls Picnic Area (which is at the end of Sir H Burrell Drive, 3.2km from Wentworth Falls village and station).

A couple of bushwalking tracks start from here, which take you to many of the other lookouts in the area – I’d recommend the 4-5km scenic Wentworth Falls scenic cliff-top loop (see map below).
