The views from Bridal Veil Lookout of Bridal Veil Falls are not as spectacular as from the nearby Majestic Lookout – but this lookout offers more of a “birds eye” perspective of the waterfall. From the fenced lookout, you look directly over the waterfall and the deep valley formed by Leura Falls Creek.

The lookout was previously called Bridal Veil View, The Railed Point and Leura Rail Lookout.

Getting to Bridal Veil Lookout

The lookout can be reached via the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, either:

from Cliff Drive at Katoomba (opposite the old Solitary Restaurant), and then taking the short, signposted track to the cliff-top lookout (after passing Fossil Rock Lookout). This is about 0.5km return.
from the Leura Cascades Picnic Area via the Leura Cascades and Evelyns Lookout, which is a longer but very scenic bushwalk. This is about 1.8km return.
