Summary: A secluded lookout along the cliff-line in Mount Victoria, Boronia Point offers sweeping views over the Kanimbla Valley.

Boronia Point in Mount Victoria is an unfenced and infrequently visited lookout. It was apparently named after the native boronias which grow here.

The lookout is perched over the valley between Hourn Point and Mount Boyce.

To the south is Mount Blackheath, on the other side of the Kanimbla Valley.

Getting to Boronia Point

The most direct way to Boronia Point is via the Hornes Point Firetrail off Mount Piddington Road; it’s a fairly easy one kilometre return walk.. The same trailhead is the starting point for the walk to Hourn Point, a slightly longer walk to a more spectacular vantage point. Both lookouts are on the Ferris Cave Circuit bushwalk.
