Summary: St Johns Falls is a small waterfall near Gordon Golf Course, accessed via a short track. Best after decent rain.

A small waterfall along Falls Creek, St Johns Falls is just below the Gordon Golf Course. The creek drops about six metres down a series of ledges, and makes an impressive sight after rain.

The flow of water can be very low or non-existent during dry periods, so this is best visited after some decent rain.

Getting to St Johns Falls

The waterfall is reached from St Johns Avenue (Gordon). A walking path (St Johns Wood Pathway) opposite Doyle Place descends from the footpath via some wooden steps. The track follows the bottom bounday of the golf course, crossing the creek over a wooden bridge. A rough goes down to the creek on both sides of the bridge; either one takes you down to the falls.
