Summary: A tall waterfall surrounded by rainforest, the viewing area for Sopo'aga Falls is located just off the Main South Coast Road.

It’s worth a quick stop and small entry fee to visit Sopo’aga Falls (or Sopoaga Falls), a tall waterfall along the Mulivaifagatola River which is right next to the Main South Coast Road. Although the waterfall itelf is some distance away, you get a good view from the viewing area on top of the steep gorge.

The waterfall plunges about 55m into a pool, and is surrounded by dense rainforest. There is no route to the base of the falls.

Getting to Sopo’aga Falls

The waterfall is signposted along the Main South Coast Road, and is about an hour’s drive from Apia. A short, paved paved through a lush garden (which has a number of plants labelled by their Samoan and scientific names) leads to a grassy viewing area.
