Summary: Rock Ribs Waterfall, located in Morton National Park, combines a picturesque waterfall with a secluded and deep swimming hole.

Located along the Corang River in Morton National Park, Rock Ribs Waterfall is arguably the most picturesque of the many cascades and waterfalls.

The Corang River drops into a deep waterhole, surrounded by sandstone cliffs on three sides, and deep enough for a refreshing swim!

Just downstream of the main falls are some smaller cascades, and another deep swimming hole.

Getting to Rock Ribs Waterfall

The waterfall is reached via the Wog Wog Walking Track and Wog Wog to Corang Lagoon Track from the Wog Wog Campground on Charleys Forest Road, which is on the western side of Morton National Park. It’s best visited along the Corang Arch loop bushwalk; you can do this a long day walk or overnight hike – you can’t camp at the waterfall but there are informal campsites along the Corang River.
