Summary: The Piles Creek Cascades is set of cascades formed by Piles Creek flowing over a wide rock platfom

Informally called the Piles Creek Cascades, the Piles Creek flows over a wide rock platform forming a series of shallow cascades. It’s a nice swimming hole on a warm day, although the water is not very deep.

Below the cascades is a small waterfall, where Piles Creek drops into a small pool. This is better for swimming, but access is a bit tricky.

The cascades are about half-way around the short Girrakool Loop bushwalk, which passes a few lookouts and waterfalls.
