Palona Falls – a small cascade near Palona Cave

Near the Palona Cave is the Palona Falls (or Palona Brook Falls), where the Palona Brook cascades over two tiers down a series of rock ledges.

The waterfall is ephemeral, as the Palona Brook dries up during extended dry periods.

Getting to Palona Falls

The quickest way to the Palona Falls is an “out and back” trip along Lady Carrington Drive from Sir Bertram Stevens Drive (5.1km). You can also do a loop to Palona Cave, which combines Lady Carrington Drive and Forest Path (8km loop).
