Summary: The small Minerva Pool Waterfall (which doesn't officially have a name) is formed by Stokes Creek cascading into the tranquil Minerva Pool.

While not as impressive as the nearby Jingga Pool, Minerva Pool also has a large pool with a small waterfall. Stokes Creek drops over a ledge into the top of the pool.

Swimming at Minerva Pool

Minerva Pool (like Jingga Pool) is a popular swimming hole – but the traditional owners of the land ask that only women and children enter this waterhole as it’s a sacred site for the Dhawaral people. (It can be a bit tricky to get in and out of the water, with the pool surrounded by rocks.)

Getting to Minerva Pool

Minerva Pool is in Wedderburn, which is in Sydney’s south-west – about 20min from the Hume Highway Campbelltown exit and an hour from Sydney.

The most common and easiest route is from the end of Victoria Road via the 10B Management Trail, and then a signposted bushwalking track which goes to a lookout over the pool, before dropping down to the pool. It’s about 1.6km (one-way).

An alternate route from Lysaght Road follows the 10T Management Trail; the last hundred metres down to the pool is steep and not on an official track. This is about 1.7km one-way.
