Summary: A small and infrequently visited waterfall along Meeks Gully, which is best viewed after heavy rain.

Located in Meeks Gully along a tributary of Linden Creek, Meeks Falls is a small but picturesque waterfall.

The waterfall was named by John Fox and Brian Fox in April 2017 after John Meeks, who was a member of the NSW Legislative Assembly from 1885 to 1887, and built himself a mountain home at Faulconbridge.

Although there had been some rain over the previous week, there was just a trickle of water dropping over the waterfall; the falls would be a lot more impressive after some heavy rain.

Getting to Meeks Falls

The easiest way to Meeks Falls is from Meeks Crescent, where a track drops down into the valley and follows the creek downstream (past Peggys Pool). The track continues past the top of the waterfall, before dropping steeply down to the creek and doubling-back to the base of the falls. The track is a little rough in places, but has tape indicating the route.
