Summary: Lubuk Mecu is a small cascade and waterhole in Selangor. It's near the larger Medang Falls (Lata Medang).

A small waterfall surrounded by dense foliage, Lubuk Mecu cascades into a deep pool. It’s a nice spot for a swim, and is on the way to the bigger and more popular Medang Falls (Lata Medang).

Lubuk Mecu

Just below this waterfall is another picturesque cascade, where the water flows down over a series of smooth ledges.

Getting to Lubuk Mecu

It’s a relatively long walk to the waterfall through the jungle, with the hiking trail starting from a parking area off Highway 55 in Kuala Kubu Bharu (Selangor). It’s about a 90min drive from KL. The trail to Lata Medang falls passes this waterfall – allow 1.5-2 hours each way.
