High Falls Creek thunders down a steep, box canyon, before reaching the Squamish River. There are many viewpoints of the creek and waterfall along a rough trail, which roughly parallels the creek.

As the track continues to ascend, there are more glimpses of High Falls Creek and the top of the waterfall.

Getting to High Falls

The High Falls Creek hike ascends steeply from the Squamish River Forest Road (just past the Cheakamus Generating Station), offering multiple views of the falls. It’s a relatively demanding hike, with some chains on the steeper sections.
