Although this small waterfall has a drop of only a few metres, its location is what makes it stand out. The (unnamed) creek drops over a wide, amphitheatre-like ledge, surrounded by moss-covered rocks and gnarled trees.
Getting to Grotto Falls
The waterfall is a short detour along the West Rim Track, which starts at the Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre (just off Nowra Road). It’s about 1.3km one-way, wth the last 100m being down a set of steps.
