Summary: Flat Rock Falls is one of the three waterfalls near the end of the Valley of the Waters Track in the Blue Mountains.

Located near the end of the Valley of the Waters Track, Flat Rock Falls is a wide waterfall formed by the Valley of the Waters Creek cascading over a rock a platform.

The best view is from the Valley of the Waters Track as it nears the waterfall, but you can also get a good view from the track below the base, looking up the creek – well above the falls are the escarpment cliffs.

Getting to Flat Rock Falls

This small waterfall is reached via the Valley of the Waters Track from the Conservation Hut at the end of Fletcher St in Wentworth Falls. Return the same way, continue further along the track to form a longer loop using the Wentworth Pass or Hippocrene Falls and Vera Falls tracks or backtrack slightly to take the National Pass. Wentworth Falls is 95km (1:30min) from Sydney or 8km (10min) from Katoomba.
