At the bottom of Carroll Creek, just before it flows into Middle Harbour Creek, are the Carroll Creek Cascades. The drop is only a couple of feet, but the creek widens considerably here as it drops over a series of wide ledges.

The cascades are at the junction of the Lyrebird Track, Carroll Creek Track and Governor Phillip Track. (A short distance upstream is the bigger Carroll Creek Falls.)

Getting to the Carroll Creek Cascades
The cascades are easily reached by following the Carroll Creek Track from the NPWS Forestville Office at the end of Ferguson St (Davidson). A few longer loop walks pass these cascades:
- Carroll Creek Loop (Easy, 8.6km)
- Casuarina and Lyrebird Loop (Moderate, 9.1km)
- Middle Harbour Circuit (Moderate/Hard, 19km)
