Summary: Singed by the 2019/20 bushfires but still standing, the Wiseman trig station is one of the easiest ones to reach in Dharug NP via the Old Great North Road.

You can reach the Wiseman trig station from Wisemans Ferry Road via the Old Great North Road or Finchs Line trails – or combine the two into a loop (Devines Hill and Finchs Line). The trig station is a few hundred metres off the trail, requiring some bush-bashing through light scrub to reach. The trig station has a concrete plinth and metal vane, which are both intact, but have been burnt in the 2019/20 fires.

The original trig lies nearby, with a pile of stones remaining from the base and the metal vane resting on the ground.
