Summary: White Trig is at the top of Mount White, and accessed via off-track bushwalk from Morgans Road or Glenworth Valley Road.

The White Trig on Mount White on the Central Coast is the only trig station I know of which doesn’t have a unique name – there is another White Trig in Duffys Forest, about 24km to the south. Located in a bush reserve above Mangrove Creek, this trig is in much better condition.

The trig is in pretty good condition; the vane is a little rusty but the nameplate is still attached.

Next to the trig station is a circle of stones, which would have formed part of the cairn of the previous, depiled trig.

Getting to the Mount White Trig

The shortest and quickest route to the trig is from Morgans Road, from -33.457207, 151.172308, following the back of private properties and approaching Mount White from the north-western side. You can also go up one of two spurs from Glenworth Valley Road around -33.443033, 151.168238, which provides a steep but viable route – this bushwalk is covered in detail in Aboriginal engravings and a Trig on an off-track Mount White loop.
