Near the top of Fan Brycheiniog (the third highest summit in South Wales) is the Trecastle Trig. It’s on the edge of the escarpment, with a stone shelter nearby. Fan Brycheiniog is the 1385th highest peak in the British Isles and the 47th highest in Wales.

There are sweeping from the trig point of the moorland and open country to the north.
