Summary: An easy walk from Cottage Point Road up to the Taber Trig Station, which has been damaged by bushfire. Continue 100m to an informal lookout.

The Taber Trig Station is reached via an easy walk up a service trail from Cottage Point Road. The trig is a concrete column which is intact, but the post and vane have been melted by fire.

There are no views from the trig, but if you continue along the track you reach a slab of rock at the end of the ridge, which offers views over Coal & Candle Creek.
