Summary: Just the concrete base remains from the Pittwater trig station, which is hidden in the bush a short distance from the base of a couple of radio towers.

This is a trig station that’s hard to find a reason to visit… the Pittwater trig station is hidden in thick bush just to the south of Mona Vale Road. Getting to it requires a bush-bash through thick scrub. It’s hard to imagine that when the trig was installed, there were sweeping views from here. The vane is missing, but the concrete base or plinth looks like it might be here for a while!
