Summary: The Olive trig station is hidden in the bush just off the bushwalking track to the top of Mount Olive.

The Olive trig station is reached via the Mount Olive Trail, which goes to the top of Mt Olive Lookout in the Popran National Park. Although hidden in the bush, it’s only a few metres from the walking track. The trig station has seen better days, with the vane detached from the metal plinth and lying on the ground. If you’re doing the Emerald Pool Loop bushwalk, this a relatively short detour off the main track.

There’s no view from the trig point, but continue a short distance and there are some nice views over Popran National Park from a rock outcrop.
