Summary: The North Head trig station is on the edge of North Head in Murramarang National Park. Stunning coastal view from this well-preserved trig staton.

Located near the edge of the cliffs on North Head in Marramarang National Park on the NSW south coast, the North Head trig enjoys some great coastal views.

The trig itself is in good condition, with the concrete base and metal vanes intact. Some trees around the trig obscure the views.

Getting to North Head Trig

There’s no track to the trig point, but it’s reached relatively easily from the North Head Campground. Follow the walking track towards the North Head Lookout, and then veer off the track to the highest point of the headland through low scrub. North Head is about four hours drive south of Sydney, between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay and accessed via South Durras.
