Summary: There are great views over Brisbane Water from the Lyre Trig, which is accessed via the short Lyre Trig firetrail.

The Lyre Trig is easily accessed via the Lyre Trig Fire Trail, off Woy Woy Road. (The trig point can also be accessed via an informal and rough path up from the Gosford Glyphs, via the Bambara Trail.)

Lyre Trig

While it’s worth doing the short walk up the firetrail for the views, the trig itself has seen better days. The concrete plinth is intact, but the vanes and nameplate are missing.

From the broad rock platform at the top, there are some great views over Brisbane Water National Park and Brisbane Water, with the ocean in the distance.
