Summary: The Kure trig station is "hidden in plain sight", just above Glenraphael Drive on Narrow Neck.

The Kure Trig is hidden from view just above the Glenraphael Drive on Narrow Neck, surrounded by low scrub.

Earlier sightings and photos show that the trig once had a mast and vanes (photos from Geocaching.com)…

…but there is no longer any sign of these, just the standard trig plate on top of the concrete base.

Despite the vegetation which has grown around the trig, there are some filtered views to the west over Megalong Creek.

Getting to Kure Trig

From the Narrow Neck car park (at the locked gate), it’s a short, 100m walk back along Glenraphael Drive, then another 100m through the bush to reach the trig point.
