Located above the Jacks Track (or Jacks Trail) on the southern side, the Kief Trig Station is still in fairly good condition. It’s on the the top of a spur off the main ridge, and surrounded by scrub so there are no views.

The steel post, vanes and nameplate are all intact, albeit a little rusty in places.

Getting to Kief Trig
The Kief trig station can be accessed via a detour off the Womerah Ridge Trail, which goes from Putty Road near Colo Heights at the western end, to St Alban Road near the town of St Albans at the eastern end. The shortest route to the trig point is via Jacks Track, with the the last 500m off-track. The best approach is up the north-eastern side of the spur, which is a fairly gentle ascent.
