Summary: An easily reached trig station, Hamley Trig is in front of a house in a relatively new Berowra residential development.

Located on the edge of a suburban housing estate in Berowra, Hamley Trig is very well preserved and very easy to reach (although it feels a little like you’re in someone’s front garden)!

The metal mast and post are intact, as is the name plate on the concrete base.

Prior to the residential development, the land was purchased by Annie Lawless on 19th August 1893, before becoming a caravan park (La mancha Caravan Park) for many years.

Getting to Hamley Trig

This is an easily reaached “drive by” trig station – it’s located just in front of a house at 5 Preston Way, a few metres from the road.
