Summary: A relatively easy-to-reach trig station, Cole Trig is on a ridge accessible from Cowan Station. An informal trail continues past Edward Trig to Taffys Rock.

Located towards the western end of Govett Ridge in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, the Cole Trig Station is easily reached via an informal track to Taffys Rock. The rock cairn forming the base of the trig station is in good condition and part of the mast is in place, but the vanes are missing.

Being surrounded by trees and shrubs, there is no view from the trig station anymore – but there are some nice views from nearby vantage points along the ridge.
