Summary: The Blue Mountain Trig Station offers offers scenic views over the Blue Mountains, with Mount Banks and Mount Hay visible in the distance.

Accessed via a short bushwalking track off the North Lawson Fire Trail, the Blue Mountain Trig Station offers some nice Blue Mountains views.

To the north-west is the distinctive Mount Banks and Mount Hay.

The trig station is a traditional concrete pillar with steel mast and vanes, which replaced the original trig in 1973.

Getting to the Blue Mountain Trig

The trig station is reached via the Lawson Ridge Fire Trail from the end of Queens Road in Lawson. Look for a trail off to the right which goes up to the trig; it’s an easy 2km return bushwalk which can be extended by continuing along Lawson Ridge.
