Summary: Racecourse Beach is just south of the Murramarang Aboriginal Area on the NSW South Coast. It's a fairly quiet swimming and surfing beach.

Just south of the Murramarang Aboriginal Area on the NSW South Coast, Racecourse Beach is a 1.3km long, south-east-facing beach. The northern end is popular with surfers, and has waves averaging 1.5m in height. There’s a strong permanent rip at the northern end, and a weaker rip at the southern end. Although there is a holiday park near the middle of the beach, it’s generally fairly quiet.

Getting to Racecourse Beach

The beach is accessible via the Murramarang Aboriginal Walking Track, a short bushwalk from Murramarang Road.
