Summary: The pristine and photogenic Pearly Ponds swimming hole (in Pearl Beach) is reached by a 30min walk along a rough bush track.

A secret swimming hole near Pearl Beach, Pearly Ponds is a serene swimming hole along a pristine, spring-fed creek.

The pool has a sandy bank on one side, and large rocks at the head of the pool. A couple of rope swings are postioned over the deeper sections of the pool.

There’s a good chance you’ll have this beautiful swimming spot to yourself.

Getting to Pearly Ponds

A walking track starts from the end of Amethyst Avenue in Pearl Beach, which is about 1:20min north of Sydney or half an hour south of Gosford. The walking trail meets Green Point Creek just before the Pearl Beach Waterfall, where it climbs steeply up the creek. Follow the rock creek for another couple of hundred metres to reach the Pearly Ponds swimming hole.
