Summary: Little Waterloo Bay is a spectacular beach in the southern section of Wilsons Promontory National Park, with white quartz sand and crystal blue water.

One of several beaches with a campsite in the southern section of Wilsons Promontory National Park, this is arguably the most spectacular of them all… The camping area (which must be booked) is just behind the beach, and has water (from a creek), toilets and some picnic tables.

The 300m long Little Waterloo Bay beach faces east and has white quartz sand and crystal blue water. It’s generally fairly safe for swimming, with low waves.

Getting to Little Waterloo Bay

The beach can be reached via a 23km (return) bushwalk from Telegraph Saddle, so it can be done as a day-walk or an overnight bushwalk via the Telegraph Track. The beach is part of the 2-4 day Wilsons Prom Southern Circuit, and is a popular campsite along this route.
