Perched above the Grose Valley at the top of the cliff-line, Mirrorball Arch Lookout offers some dramatic views – and an interesting and unusual rock formation. The outlook captures the Grose River about 200m below, and the vertical cliffs on both sides of the Grose Valley.
To the north-west is Walls Lookout, Rigby Hill and Liversidge Hill, three heads that jut into the Grose Valley.
The lookout gets its name from the small, natural arch which frames a view of the cliffs above the Grose Valley – and the name (“Mirrorball”) which describes one of 36 climbing routes in the “Lunch Ledge” area.
An elevated sandstone pagoda above the cliff-line offers a view over the arch below, and the Grose Valley below.

Getting to Mirrorball Arch
Mirrorball Arch is one of four lookouts below Wongarra Hill reached by a bushwalking track from the Bells Line of Road between Mount Banks Road and Pierces Pass Road (plus a fifth lookout that requires some off-track walking). Park on the wide shoulder at -33.56833, 150.34946 and walk eastward along Bells Line of Road about 100m until you spot the start of the trail.
The bushwalking trail is soon leaves the eucalypt forest and opens open heathland as it follows the ridge.

Look for a junction (not signposted) after about 1.2km, where a track on the right soon starts to descend (fairly steeply at times) towards the cliff-line. Occasional small cairns and ribbons mark the climbers route, which can be easy to lose in a couple of places.
