A large platform on a long ridge near Mount White which includes two mundoes; these are likely to form part of a series of “6 footprints and 5 circles with radial arms” documented by Ian Sim.
Near the mundoes are a number of circles which appear to be engraved, but may be natural.
Yengo National Park was an important spiritual and cultural place for the Darkinjung and Wonnarua People for thousands of years, and 640 Aboriginal cultural sites are recorded in the park and nearby areas.
Bordered by Wollemi and Yengo National Park, the Parr State Conservation Area has many indigenous heritge sites, including rock engravings, cave pintings and axe grinding grooves.
Many sites Aboriginal engraving sites across the inner suburbs of Sydney have been destroyed or are very weatheredl. The sites which remain are isolated from their natural environment.
The Blue Mountains National Park (and surrounding areas along the Great Western Highway) is thought to have over a thousand indigenous heritage sites, although much of the park has not been comprehensively surveyed. The Aboriginal rock sites in the Blue Mountains include grinding grooves, stensils, drawing and rock carvings.
