Below the Callicoma Trail in Cherrybrook is a small sandstone shelter, which contains a single Aboriginal hand stencil in red ochre. (There may have been more stencils, which have weathered to the point they are no long visible.)

The shelter is very shallow, with a smooth and sheltered back wall.

Aboriginal Rock Art – Lane Cove
Over 40 sites have been recorded within the park; many were located along the river bank and were flooded by the building of the weir in 1938.
