Rock Ribs Waterfall, located in Morton National Park, combines a picturesque waterfall with a secluded and deep swimming hole.
Corang Trig was on top of Corang Peak, but there is no trace left of the trig station. However, there are spectacular 360-degree views from the top of the hill.
A scenic overnight bushwalk along the Wog Wog Walking Track to Corang Peak and the impressive Corang Arch, returning via the Corang River and Corang Lagoon. (Can also be done as a day-walk from Wog Wog Campground.)
A spectacular waterfall in the NSW Southern Highlands, Belmore Falls can be seen from a few vantage points on the opposite side of the valley. Access to the bottom of the first tier is possible, but the walking track is officially closed.
Tianjara Falls along Braidwood Road (between Canberra and the coast) is spectactular after heavy rain, and can stop flowing in dry periods.
Granite Falls on the NSW south coast generally doesn’t have a high volume of water, but the river plunges off a 63m-high sheer granite cliff. A cantilevered platform provides a great view of the falls and valley below.
Although the physical trig station now lies under a viewing platform, the Pigeon House Trig has one of the best views of any trig station in NSW! Getting to the trig requires a 2-3hr bushwalk with a steep ascent.
Pigeon House Mountain or Didthul is one of the best walks in Morton National Park and on the south coast. The steep climb culminates in a set of steel stairs, with stunning views from the 720m high summit.
