The powerful Otodome Falls (音止の滝, Otodome-no-taki) plunges 25m into a deep pool at its base. The waterfall is a short walk from the even more spectacular Shiraito Falls.

Shiraito Falls – a spectacular waterfall near Mt Fuji
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Japan, Shiraito Falls (白糸の滝, Shiraito no Taki) is 20m high and 150m wide. The water cascades in long, thin threads which give the waterfall its name.
