There are many waterfalls in every Australian state, although the most spectacular drops are along the eastern seaboard – the Blue Mountains (NSW), Waterfall Way near Dorrigo (NSW), Lamington National Park (QLD) and Cairns region (QLD) are some of the best places to go chasing easily-accessible waterfalls.

Little Flaggy Creek Falls is a small waterfall along the Yuelerbah Walking Track in the Glenrock State Conservation Area. You can climb down to the base of the falls and clamber behind the cascade.

Mimosa Oval Waterfall is hidden away in Sheldon Forest. While close to suburbia, the secret waterfall feels very secluded and remote.
