There are many waterfalls in every Australian state, although the most spectacular drops are along the eastern seaboard – the Blue Mountains (NSW), Waterfall Way near Dorrigo (NSW), Lamington National Park (QLD) and Cairns region (QLD) are some of the best places to go chasing easily-accessible waterfalls.

Yilgahn Falls is a small cascade along the Toolona Creek Circuit in Lamington National Park, near the walking track.

Fountain Creek cascade is a small but wide waterfall, where the creek tumbles over a wide ledge.

Not the most spectacular waterfall in the Blue Mountains, Lilla Falls ie one of three waterfalls along Linda Creek near Leura.
